Growing up in a broken home, Leslie learned firsthand how difficult it can be to overcome a painful past. Her relationship with God has taught her that His Word has power, that truth is stronger than lies, and that evil is indeed overcome with good. Her experience as a Christian counselor lends credibility to her journey as she helps people find help and healing through the truth that sets them free.
Leslie is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice with more than twenty years experience. She is an adjunct professor at Philadelphia Biblical University and is a guest lecturer at Westminster Seminary. Leslie is one of the featured speakers on two of the American Association of Christian Counselor Video Series, Extraordinary Women and Marriage Words.
She has written How to Act Right When Your Spouse Acts Wrong, The TRUTH Principle – A Life Changing Model for Spiritual Growth and Renewal and Getting Over the Blues: A Woman’s Guide to Fighting Depression. In addition to her three books, Leslie has written numerous articles and contributed to The Soul Care Bible and Competent Christian Counseling.
Leslie and her husband, Howard, are active members in their local church and have two grown children.
